Dr. Shaw is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Practitioners, American Veterinary Academy of Dermatology and the American Veterinary Academy of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Shaw was the consulting and practicing avian veterinarian for the Wild Wings Bird Show at Sea World-Six Flags Show from 1997-2001. In pursuing his medical interests in internal medicine he has taken curriculum that has allowed him to be proficient in abdominal ultrasound and gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Although Avian medicine and Dermatology are Dr. Shaws' real passion, he always is challenged and strives to be a perfectionist in Dentistry, Cardiology, and Internal Medicine.
As many clients know he also has a career as a Professional Golfer, playing in events on the European Senior Tour. He turned Pro in 2004 and has competed in many events domestically and international including the Senior British Open and Nationwide Tour.
Dr. Perry studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at the University of Findlay. After graduating she then attended Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2013.
Dr.Perry is a member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA). Her interests include: Senior Patient Care and integrative medicine including Acupuncture and Laser therapy.
Dr. Perry and her husband Jon share their home with 2 three-legged cats named Oscar and Rev as well as 2 rescue dogs, Scout and Sage. She devotes her spare time working closely with the Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue and thoroughly enjoys this fulfilling time spent bettering the lives of dogs in need as well as spending quality time with her own Lab rescue(s).
Graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003. Dr Cerny worked at a Columbus veterinary clinic for 6 years before relocating to Cleveland.
Ironically, she was a technician at our Hospital 12 years ago and has found her way back to our hospital.
Her interests include primary health care for your dog or cat in surgery or being treated for illnesses as the veterinarian in charge of hospital cases. She is involved in the Dental care and prevention of your pet and personally performs the dentals on your pet.
Dr. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in biology from the Ohio State University. She remained in Columbus where she completed veterinary school at Ohio State’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Taylor is a member of both the OVMA (Ohio Veterinary Medical Association) and the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association). Her special interests include behavior, pocket pets, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Taylor and her significant other have three young labrador mixes named Louise, Chance, and Maeby. They recently added two Nubian goat kids named Annabelle and Daisy to their family. Dr. Taylor also enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, and photography.

Tracey has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years and came to our hospital in May of 2011. She has moved from receptionist to veterinary technician and is now Broadview Animal and Bird Hospitals Office Manager. She completed her veterinary technology studies at Penn Foster. Tracey has an extensive background in both patient and client care and prepares estimates for any procedure your pet may need. Her and her husband stay busy with 2 kids, her Golden Retriever named Newman, a deaf miniature Australian Shepherd named Max, 2 cats and a Green Cheek Conure. In her spare time she enjoys traveling the country with her family, camping, and hiking in the local Metroparks with her Golden Retriever.
Charlene started working as a veterinary assistant at age 16 and has gained exceptional experience working in the field for the past 24 years. She worked at her first veterinary hospital for 20 years before starting work in emergency medicine. While there, she furthered her skills as a surgical assistant, critical care nurse and post-operative technician. She has thoroughly enjoyed all her years as a veterinary technician and looks forward to many more.
In her off time, she enjoys boating and camping with her husband and 3 year old Pomeranian Teddy. She also has 2 more furry friends at home, Tahoe and Checkers.
Bill received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1975 from Cleveland State University, and became a Registered Professional Engineer in 1981. He owned a mechanical/electrical engineering firm specializing in Health Care Facility Design until his retirement in 2007. His understanding and familiarity with the complexities of health care facilities have served him well in his second career as a Pharmacy Technician, where attention to diagnostic details and accuracy are imperative.
Bill and his wife have two children and four grandchildren. He includes fishing, nature photography, gardening and horseback riding as some of his leisure time pursuits, as well as spending quality time with his labs: Chelsea and Jojo.

Katie graduated in 2007 with a psychology degree. Afterwards, she attended the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh and worked for 2 1/2 years at a small animal practice before moving back to Cleveland. She has experience with patient care, laboratory and pharmacy skills, and is certified in laser therapy. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids Katie has 2 dogs, and loves outdoor sports and activities.
Jillian came to our hospital in May of 2017. She gradated with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017. She has a strong interest in our Avian patients but loves all animals equally. She has 2 cats of her own, Precious and Leo.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, bird watching, and playing with her cats.
Liz graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh in 2009. She has 2 cats named Tyra and Heathcliff, a box turtle named Amelia, a Russian Tortoise named Littlefoot and a bearded dragon named Spyro. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking, and relaxing with her family and friends.
Kate came to our hospital in June of 2017. She has been in the veterinary field for 12 years and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for 7 of those years. She graduated from Brown Macke College in Cincinnati in 2010. In her spare time she loves to paint landscapes, abstract and pet portraits. She is also an avid Kayaker. She spends with her time with her dog Atticus Finch, her daughter Scarlett, and her significant other Sean.
Jackie joined our staff in April of 2015 after being a long time client. She graduated Tri-C veterinary technology program in May of 2015. Jackie has a strong interest in our feline friends but has a love for all animals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her own cats and relaxing with her friends and family.
Gaby came to our hospital in March of 2017. She has worked in the veterinary field as an assistant since the age of 16 and just moved to Ohio from Puerto Rico. Gaby has a Golden Retriever named Lucia, a Labrador named Paulina, and a Beagle/Jack Russel mix named Estefania. She is enrolling in Penn Fosters Veterinary Technology program in the summer of 2017. In her spare time Gaby enjoys spending time with her family and friends and reading. She also enjoys musical theater and is learning to speak Italian as her 3rd language.
Carrie came to our hospital in May of 2017. She has worked in the veterinary field for 2 years with experience as an assistant and receptionist both. Carrie is one of the first faces you see when entering our hospital and she is always wearing a smile. She enjoys spending time with her 10 year old pug Bosco, watching movies, and following the show Impractical Jokers.
Sharon came to Broadview Animal and Bird Hospital in May of 2017 with 5 years of veterinary hospital experience. She is one of the smiling faces that greet you as soon as you walk in. Sharon has 3 rescue dogs of her own, Oliver, Jersey, and Jazz. In her spare time Sharon enjoys cooking, yoga, and hiking with her dogs."
